Silence The Musical

Creative Development of a collaboratively devised visual and physical theatre piece that plays with the conventions of musical theatre using clown as genre. The work explores the universal sounds of silence through a series of episodes from which the characters are provoked to speakyet speech does not come. The clown genre is treated as silent psychologically charged moments between people, drawing on the silence of politicians, of ordinary citizens, of lovers, of fathers, of mothers, and of others in the face of war, incarceration, genocide, death and living.
